Working at FingerTec / TimeTec is a roller coaster ride filled with challenges and excitements. The team is moving from Windows application to Web application and now working on Cloud application; the entire transformation requires a lot of creativity and innovation from each person in the team to bring it to completion. I enjoy learning and improving myself in the process. We are all a part of the system and, the responsibility is to work in tandem to achieve the target purpose in the given time.

My designs at FingerTec / TimeTec travel the world and that gives me joy. The biggest challenge as a designer for a renowned brand like FingerTec / TimeTec is to inject your own creativity into a design and balance it with the company’s expectation. The balancing act is not easy at the beginning and through time, you know how sync these two elements. I have to keep updating myself with the trend and the styles of today to be constantly updated with what’s happening out there in the designer’s world. And in the commercial world, you learn fast, you create fast, there is not time to indulge in the creative process.

I am a license diver. It’s not everyday you got to see a sea of colorful endless beautiful coral and it’s all natural. It’s simply amazing.

In my job, I deal with business people from around the globe and for me personally, I don't treat them as customers; they are my friends. As the business grows, so as the friendships! FingerTec / TimeTec has been my playground to learn, make mistakes, explore new things in life and grow to be a better person.

As a Marketing Manager for TimeTec Cloud, I breathe, live and sleep Cloud. The cloud was never the plan as I started joining the team as one of the sales team but my background in System Science and Management somehow gives me an edge when it comes to this new application. When there’s no precedent, setting the trend is not a walk in the park but the job gives me the opportunity to understand this cloud technology better and how it would impact our future in life and in business. The shift was not easy but pushing forward, this is THE trend of tomorrow and I’m happy to be a part of it.

Outside of the office, I dance to the music; I couldn’t live without a TV and I sing when nobody is looking.

There’s no one right way to doing business, you learn new tips and tricks as you go. Security industry is a man’s world, but it doesn’t mean a petite girl like me doesn’t belong. I have penchant for good food particularly for dessert and travelling gives me the opportunity to experience the palette of the world.

I’m in charge of FingerTec’s domestic sales for almost 6 years to date. A key to make a customer happy is to be honest, listen and react. Don’t promise something you can’t deliver and always have that pick-up-that-phone-fast attitude. I love my job very much.

Out of the office, I like hanging out with my family and travel the world occasionally.

As a programmer at FingerTec / TimeTec, I’m surrounded by great developers and having the chance to work with modest, smart and passionate people, I expose myself to an amazing learning experience every day. It's the best when everyone plays his role in the necessary task to tilt the odds to achieve the best we could possibly produce.

On other times, I tilt my body to Yoga and occasionally indulge myself in literary adventure. My favourite book of all time, cliché and all is The Secret by Rhonda Byrne.

Here, I meet a lot of awesome people who are willing to share their knowledge and I learn and grow. I have been given a lot of chances to perform, opportunities to learn and of course, a great platform for me to start and build my career. I shape for a better customers' experience. To be a good programmer, the skill to solving problems is key. I have enjoyed learning since I was very young and there’s no limit to where learning can take you. I’m also very fond of applying logic to solve problems and in the job, we tackle humongous ‘problems’ and it’s a sense of achievement if the ‘problems’ get sorted out so we can move on to solving more ‘problems’. It's a really awesome feeling to work with a team of smart and friendly people who are passionate about their work.

Problem solving requires creativity and as a programmer, my tool to solving problems is to make use of the programming language. I like experimenting with programming because by tweaking a little logic can make an interface or a website be user-friendlier. We live in interesting times where much of the livings go online and love to experience the ‘world’ virtually. I am a part of something important this era and to keep up with the pace of the technologies, I have to keep learning and absorbing new things at a faster pace. It’s such a pleasure to get to work with an experienced team that is not only smart but generous with their knowledge!

On my free time, I love taking pictures be it selfie, wefie, or anything under the sun.

I considered myself a self-taught person and as at now enjoying my work at FingerTec / TimeTec tremendously. To get the experience working with Amazon Web Services is pretty cool, in my humble opinion. This provides me with vast knowledge, plus I got the chance to handle one fantastic service ‘auto-scaling group’ combined with AWS API, that has eased my work with zero worry about host downtime, deployment speed and not to mention the flexibility to meet my demands. AWS has provided a free account that allows me a fully access the Free Tier for self-training and testing to gain hands on experience that I severely required at times. I’m thrilled and fortunate to work with a bunch of fantastic people that are so driven to achieve the set targets.

I joined the company since 2005 as a technical engineer. I've dealt with all product related cases, from hands-on to consultations, from complaints to suggestions. This is the 9th years for me in the company and I can feel the growth of the company and improvement of our products. And I appreciate everybody in the company as we share information and work to solve problems as a team. Currently I am leading the technical department in providing support to all our customers around the globe. Everyone in the team is knowledgeable and needs to be sensitive to customers’ needs. This job also requires me to deal with hardware and software development as the middle person between sales & marketing and R&D department. I am happy to be a part of a global brand and I will be happier if customers can share any comments or suggestion so we can improve to be a better company.

Not a very serious person myself, I enjoy spending time with my family and my two sons on my off days.

I regard my work as very important. Here, we check the goods, we pack them well, and we shipped them to clients hoping that nothing bad happen in transit time. We take pride on each product and the company has provided us with a good training to make sure that we adhere to the standards that they set for us. The company has evolved since I first joined many years ago, from using large boxes with Styrofoam with a lot of printed materials and CDs to becoming a company that is environmental friendlier.

I am a family-oriented person and in my free time, my son gets it all.
