Over the years, TimeTec has demonstrated our commitment on data privacy and protection by achieving the industry standards ISO 27001. Not only that, TimeTec has taken various measures to ensure our customers’ information are secure and protected, as explained in the Data Security page.
This May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), a new data protection law for European countries will finally start to take effect. We believe that the GDPR is an important step to help us move towards a higher standards of operations to protect customers’ data, thus we are committed to comply with this new regulation.
What is GDPR?
GDPR is a new data protection law for European countries that strengthen the protection of personal data. It is a wide-reaching legislation, as it applies to all companies handling personal data of EU residents and its scope also covers almost all data relating to an individual, such as your IP addresses, website cookies and more. With this, the EU has really taken a major step forward to strengthen data protection, by shifting the rights over personal data away from companies back into your hands.

For TimeTec, these new provisions will now govern the way we collect, store and process your personal data that we have in our care. Furthermore, in order to comply with the GDPR’s requirements, we have also made a host of changes to our website, policies, systems and processes.
